The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Seasonal, Part-time, Paid (runs mid-February to mid-April)
• Location: In-person Middletown, NY
• Pay: $30–$32 hourly
• Team: Interns are assigned to one of the industry groups to work as a team member on diverse client engagements.
• Mission: Assist in providing quality tax services to the firm’s clients and gain real-world experience in public accounting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist: Assist in providing quality tax services to the Firm’s clients.
• Collaborate: Collaborate as a team member on diverse client engagements within an assigned industry group.
• Process: Scan and prepare tax returns.
• Cultivate: Develop professional relationships with clients and employees.
• Adhere: Adhere to the Firm’s policies and procedures to ensure efficient and professional work.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level. Completion of at least 75% of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university or college.
• Experience: No prior professional experience explicitly required; this internship is designed to provide real-world, hands-on experience in public accounting.
• Skills: Good communication skills, computer skills, customer focus, ability to multitask, and a foundational understanding of basic technical tax requirements.
