2027 Wealth & Investment Management Analyst Program – Early Careers | Wells Fargo

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Wells Fargo, located in St. Louis, MO and Charlotte, NC. Wells Fargo is a leading provider of financial and investment services in the United States, offering a comprehensive suite of personalized wealth management, investment, and retirement products to help clients achieve their unique financial goals. This Early Careers program is integral to attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional recent college graduates, with a strategic goal to build bench strength and further strengthen the workforce within the Wealth & Investment Management division. Analysts will gain hands-on experience in non-client facing roles, contributing directly to internal operations that support enduring client relationships through sound advice and individualized plans.

• Mission: Attract, develop, and retain recent college graduates to build bench strength and strengthen the workforce within WIM through a two-year, non-rotational analyst program.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Communication & Relationship Management: Maintain daily contact with leaders at all levels of the organization, including senior management, team members, individual contributors, and vendors.
• Process Improvement & Problem Solving: Understand processes and workflows to make recommendations for improvements, and bring closure to issues, questions, and requests by solving problems independently.
• Analytical & Financial Support: Contribute to investment management and financial analyses, supporting various functions within a “home office” or “middle/back-office” environment.
• Project Leadership & Support: Lead or actively participate in projects or support activities that are moderate in size and organizational span, supporting strategic initiatives.
• Continuous Learning & Adaptation: Consistently learn new systems, applications, processes, and techniques to enhance product and market knowledge, adapting to evolving business needs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning, or a related field, qualifying for an Entry-Level analyst program.
• Experience: 6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work, training, military experience, or education, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; proven ability to prioritize work, take personal accountability, meet deadlines, and achieve goals under pressure; strong critical thinking and basic data analysis abilities to evaluate financial, economic, or investment decisions, demonstrating curiosity and a learning mindset.
• Bonus: Active participation in extracurricular or enrichment activities, including leadership, volunteer, or student organization experience; understanding of business and financial concepts to support investment and product strategies; ability to travel 5% or more of the time.
