In this crucial Website & Technology Intern/Volunteer role, you will be instrumental in the ongoing maintenance and improvement of FCCP’s essential website and broader digital systems. Your work will directly support the organization’s core operations, including streamlining online fundraising efforts, managing volunteer sign-ups efficiently, and ensuring accurate data tracking, all of which are vital to FCCP’s mission and outreach.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Website Content Management: Update and manage FCCP’s website using the Wix platform to ensure current information and a user-friendly experience for visitors.
• Digital System Monitoring: Monitor website security, performance, and backups to ensure optimal functionality, stability, and data integrity for all digital assets.
• Online Fundraising Support: Support and integrate online donation tools and various fundraising platforms, facilitating secure and efficient financial contributions to FCCP.
• Performance and SEO Analysis: Track website analytics and identify opportunities for search engine optimization (SEO) improvements to increase online visibility and user engagement.
• Volunteer & Data Coordination: Manage volunteer sign-ups, handle communications through the website inbox, and maintain accurate event and volunteer tracking spreadsheets to support program operations and reporting.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role is suitable for a student currently pursuing studies or a professional looking to contribute their skills, both of whom should possess a keen interest in the fields of web management or general technology.
• Experience: Candidates should ideally be familiar with the Wix platform for website development and management. However, a strong willingness and aptitude to learn how to effectively use Wix will also be fully considered.
• Skills: The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of detail orientation and strong organizational skills, crucial for managing various digital assets and data. They should also possess an inherent ability to grasp and apply technical concepts related to website maintenance, analytics, SEO, and data tracking.
