The Tone:
This is an internship at A Igreja de Jesus Cristo dos Santos dos Últimos Dias, located in Salt Lake City, UT, with a hybrid work model. The Church Auditing Department provides assurance to management by evaluating risks and controls within a multinational organization. This role matters by helping to protect the assets of the Church and ensuring operations are in proper order, supporting the global work of the Church.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Evaluate risks and controls across Church-affiliated companies to provide assurance to management and protect Church assets.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assignments: Perform various IT audit assignments as directed by supervising staff.
• Risk Assessment: Contribute to the evaluation of risks and controls within Church-affiliated not-for-profit and for-profit operations.
• Collaboration: Actively work in teams to collaborate and devise effective solutions for clients across global operations.
• Deadline Management: Meet challenging deadlines and provide full attention to detail on all assignments.
• Operational Auditing: Assist in auditing the operations, controls, and financial statements of a multinational Church organization.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, currently enrolled or recently graduated with 3+ years of college coursework as an information systems/technology or cybersecurity major.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience required for the internship; experience with technology, cybersecurity, or data privacy is preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent written communication and presentation skills, ability to work independently with tact and diplomacy, and sound judgment of Church doctrine, history, organization, policy, and protocol.
• Bonus: Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Cristo de los Santos dos Últimos Dias and currently temple worthy.
