Wealth Management Intern | RBC

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and operational assistance to Financial Advisors and their clients.
• Inquiry Response: Respond to routine client inquiries accurately and efficiently.
• Information Provision: Furnish clients with requested account-related information, including balances and stock quotes.
• Project Assistance: Help with departmental mailing and filing initiatives to maintain organized records.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. This role is designed for a student or co-op seeking experience within the wealth management domain, requiring an foundational understanding of financial services operations and client support principles.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required; however, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in providing administrative and operational assistance, as well as managing client inquiries effectively.
• Skills: Demonstrated Computer Literacy for effectively managing digital tasks and information systems; strong Communication skills for clear, concise, and professional interactions with clients and financial advisors; proven ability to build positive Interpersonal Relationships; a proactive approach to Taking Initiative in daily responsibilities; and a focus on efficient Operational Delivery to maintain high service standards. Additionally, candidates should possess Active Learning, Adaptability, Listening Effectively, Personal Development, and Teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.
