Description: Wealth Management Intern
This is a paid, 12-week seasonal internship (May 27th – August 15th) at GreenState Credit Union’s North Liberty, IA location. The internship pays $15.00/hour and is an on-site position.
Responsibilities:
The Wealth Management Intern will provide direct support to the Wealth Management division, working with Financial Advisors, Trust Officers, and Administrative Associates. Specific duties include:
• Attending meetings
• Supporting Financial Advisors, Trust Officers, and Administrative Associates
• Maintaining the call calendar
• Communicating with members and clients
• Reviewing accounts
• Assisting with various projects including GWP, Financial Planning, Grow Our Own, and Marketing
• Adhering to the Credit Union’s core values.
• Demonstrating positive member service (internal and external).
• Demonstrating teamwork.
• Ensuring confidentiality of member information.
• Assisting with planning and execution of department events.
• Providing administrative and clerical support.
• Interacting with internal and external parties (employees, members, vendors).
• Participating in community service events.
• Performing other duties as needed.
Currently pursuings:
• Must be a current student in good academic standing, entering their junior or senior year before the internship starts.
• Enthusiasm for learning.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Good telephone manners.
• Ability to understand written materials.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications (spreadsheets, word processing, databases).
• Must be bondable.
• Availability for a non-traditional workweek, including evenings and weekends.
Reporting Relationship: The intern will report to assigned Department Leaders. The position does not involve supervising other employees.
