• Mission: To develop and integrate top U.S. Military Officer talent into GE Aerospace’s industry leadership through a structured 2-year rotational program, leveraging their experience to solve critical challenges.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Complete Program: Successfully navigate and complete a comprehensive 2-year rotational leadership program, gaining diverse experience across various business units and functions within GE Aerospace.
• Apply Leadership: Leverage extensive military leadership experience, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities to directly impact critical engineering and operational challenges.
• Develop Expertise: Rapidly acquire new business acumen, technical expertise relevant to aerospace, and master diverse responsibilities by immersing in different roles and projects during rotations.
• Foster Collaboration: Build and maintain strong working relationships with peers, senior leaders, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, collaborative decision-making, and collective achievement of organizational goals.
• Drive Adaptability: Thrive in evolving and demanding environments, demonstrating agility, a proactive approach to change, a commitment to quality in all tasks, and strong accountability for outcomes in new assignments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University; Commissioned U.S. Military Officer.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of U.S. Military Officer service completed by the start date, up to a maximum of 12 years. Must have an Honorable Discharge upon completion of military obligations. Minimum of 4 years of active-duty status in the last 5 years of service. A maximum of 2 years of separation from active duty is permitted, with exceptions for extenuating circumstances such as Active Reserve Duty or Graduate Degree Pursuit.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, including the ability to speak with candor and contribute constructively; proven decision-making capabilities; analytical and critical thinking abilities for effective problem-solving; demonstrated collaborative approach to teamwork; high adaptability to dynamic environments; keen attention to detail and commitment to quality; and personal accountability for actions.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study (e.g., Engineering); 6 – 12 years of Officer Military Service is preferred; Completion of an advanced military training course (e.g., Flight School, Airborne school, Nuclear Power School, career development courses, etc.); Qualities such as humility, transparency, a focused mindset, being a quick learner, strategic prioritization, and an eagerness to build trust quickly with peers and stakeholders.
