Financial Systems Intern – Summer 2027 | Tokio Marine HCC

The Tone:
This is a seasonal internship at Tokio Marine HCC, located in Houston, Texas with a hybrid schedule requiring 4 days in the office. Tokio Marine HCC is a leading global specialty insurance group, backed by Tokio Marine Group, with over 50 years of sustained growth and profitability. This role is vital for supporting the company’s various business units by assisting a key Accounting Financial Systems team with core financial operations and inquiries.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting: Assist with collecting, recording, summarizing, and reporting accounting transactions.
• Collaboration: Collaborate in the research and response to both internal and external customers regarding inquiries.
• Projects: Provide ad hoc information as requested to support current work and special projects in the accounting department.
• Clerical: Perform other general clerical duties as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a relevant field, or a recent enrollee in such a study, with a minimum of 60 hours of general college coursework and a 3.0 GPA.
• Experience: Basic knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, along with proficiency and experience using the Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
• Skills: Possess exemplary communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy, alongside proven organizational and analytical skills, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
