2027 Finance Program | Truist

The Tone:
This is a regular, full-time program at Truist, located in Charlotte, NC. Truist is a 29,574-person organization that inspires and builds better lives and communities through consumer and wholesale banking, technology, data, and operations. This immersive program places participants directly into critical work within the bank, providing real-world experience and a custom curriculum to deepen financial services acumen. • Team: Finance track within the Financial Management organization, including teams like Accounting, Reporting and Tax, Corporate Treasury, and Enterprise Finance.
• Mission: This program is designed to build a pipeline of agile learners and transformational thinkers who quickly integrate diverse experiences and broad exposure across the enterprise to drive collaboration and integrated thinking.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Training: Complete all prescribed training satisfactorily to prepare for appropriate center assignments by the program’s end.
• Rotations: Participate in business rotations, engaging in projects and daily activities that apply learned concepts and behaviors.
• Projects: Perform special projects or assignments that may fall outside the formalized training program.
• Problem Solving: Utilize data to solve complex business challenges within a large company context.
• Strategy Influence: Partner with leaders across the organization to contribute to work that influences strategy, profitability, and growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree is required for this entry-level program, with a graduation date between May 2026 and June 2027. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is also required.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership through on-campus and/or community involvement or work experience. The ability to be based in Charlotte, NC for the program’s duration and to be hired into a Truist Finance Hub location upon placement is mandatory.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong initiative, and personal accountability. General knowledge of the financial services industry is expected.
• Bonus: Enthusiasm for a career in financial services and a willingness to travel are preferred.
