Financial Analyst Development Program (FADP) | Target

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Target, located in Minneapolis, MN, with a hybrid work option. Target is an iconic brand, a Fortune 50 company, and one of America’s leading retailers. This position within Financial Planning & Analysis drives outstanding financial results by enabling and accelerating Target’s strategic execution. The role requires bringing analytical rigor, creative problem-solving, and sound decision-making to directly impact financial and operational direction-setting.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Participation: Participate in the established Financial Analyst Development Program (FADP) and a multi-year cohort to accelerate development.
• Financial Strategy: Drive outstanding financial results by enabling and accelerating Target’s strategic execution across the organization.
• Partnership Building: Nurture influential partnerships with leaders, providing quality and reliable insights to build credibility.
• Problem Solving: Apply analytical rigor, creative problem-solving, and sound decision-making to contribute to cross-functional teams.
• Resource Optimization: Develop innovative solutions that directly impact financial and operational direction-setting, merchandising, and capital investments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level, currently enrolled in the final year of an undergraduate program, with Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Experience: Successful completion of an internship or other related work experience.
• Skills: Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, communication, and decision-making skills, alongside excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.
• Bonus: A curious, adaptable mindset committed to ongoing learning and professional growth.
