Program Cost Controls Principal Analyst | RTX

This Principal Program Controls Cost Analyst role is critical for providing essential financial analysis and reporting for a portfolio of programs, directly supporting program cost, schedule, forecasting, and Earned Value Management System activities within Raytheon Vision Systems.

• Mission: Provide financial analysis and reporting for a portfolio of programs, supporting cost, schedule, forecasting, and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) activities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Provide financial analysis and reporting for a portfolio of programs, encompassing all elements of cost.
• Program Reviews & Forecasting: Support monthly program status reviews, Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews, Program Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development, and the preparation and submission of monthly financial forecasts.
• Earned Value Management: Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) cost and schedule analysis across production programs in accordance with applicable EVMS requirements.
• Special Projects & Proposals: Support special projects including Gate Reviews, proposals, Requests for Information (RFIs), Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, and cost strategy activities for competitive proposals.
• Cash Management: Support the cash management process, which includes invoicing, monitoring customer receipts, and conducting funding analysis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience; or an advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of related work experience in financial analysis and program cost controls.
• Experience: Requires experience using SAP financial systems (including APEX, PRISM, or Business Warehouse/Analysis for Office (BW/AO)) and Raytheon PMX or a similar financial management system. Must have experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), program controls, cost and schedule management, and Estimate at Completion (EAC) processes.
• Skills: Proficient in financial analysis and reporting, cost and schedule management, Earned Value Management (EVM), program forecasting and Estimate at Completion (EAC) development, and SAP financial system proficiency.
• Bonus: EVMS certification or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire, experience preparing and presenting financial briefings to management, customers, and peers, and experience managing multiple financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting activities with established deadlines.
