Treasury Analyst | SpaceX

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at SpaceX, located in Hawthorne, CA. SpaceX was founded under the belief that humanity’s future involves exploring the stars, actively developing technologies to enable human life on Mars. This role is crucial for ensuring the company’s treasury capabilities can support the increasing demands of its rapidly growing global Starlink business, focusing on global cash management and infrastructure.

• Mission: Owns various aspects of treasury operations, with a primary focus on global cash management, country expansions, foreign exchange operations, treasury systems, controls, and compliance.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, treasury management systems, online banking platforms

What You’ll Actually Do
• Banking Network: Build and maintain the company’s expanding worldwide banking network.
• Analytics: Develop robust analytics and reports to help optimize treasury processes and operations.
• Inquiry Resolution: Research and resolve inquiries regarding global cash activities.
• Internal Support: Support accounting, finance, tax, legal, FP&A, operations, and other internal teams with projects and initiatives relating to cash, bank accounts, and treasury activities.
• Infrastructure Development: Play an important role in building best-in-class treasury infrastructure to support global expansion.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: 1+ years of corporate treasury or treasury operations banking experience. Experience with payments and cash transfers and related procedures, controls, and systems.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with treasury management systems and online banking platforms. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business. CTP (Certified Treasury Professional).
