• Mission: Monitor and assist in the successful execution of trades for retirement clients and enhance operational processes within a growing business unit.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Trade Execution: Monitor and assist in the successful execution of trades for retirement clients, initially managing an ETF trading product.
• Fund Company Engagement: Engage with fund companies to enter into new trading agreements, amend existing contracts, and maintain the division’s security master.
• Special Event Coordination: Coordinate and execute special handling events with fund companies.
• Process Improvement: Review and enhance daily processes to identify improvements benefiting the team and department.
• Industry Learning: Work across the team and with clients to gain an understanding of both the retirement industry and equity markets.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Entry-level role with an interest in financial services and markets.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required. Intermediate Excel skills preferred.
• Skills: Communication skills for interacting with external clients, management, and business partners; analytical skills for researching and resolving issues; ability to quickly learn, process, and identify improvements.
• Bonus: Interest in growth and development within a leading enterprise and a motivation to gain knowledge and experiences in the financial services industry.
