Third Party Risk Management Team Lead | Allianz

This role is crucial for managing the delivery of Third Party Risk Management services globally, ensuring stability, compliance, and continuous improvement for Allianz entities worldwide, thereby shaping the business directly.

• Mission: Lead the delivery organization in Spain to provide Third Party Risk Management services to Allianz entities globally, while also performing direct TPRM duties for a key client.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Service Delivery: Manage the comprehensive delivery of Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) as a service from the Spain hub to Allianz entities globally, overseeing SLAs, quality standards, and capacity management, including incident and problem resolution.
• TPRM Execution: Personally perform core TPRM officer activities, such as conducting third-party risk assessments, executing due diligence reviews, and managing ongoing monitoring for a designated key client entity within Allianz.
• Team Leadership: Directly lead and develop a delivery team that may include TPRM experts, senior experts, and potentially other team leads, focusing on resource planning, skills development, performance management, and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Global Alignment & Governance: Ensure seamless coordination with the global Digital Resilience team on the TPRM governance framework, policies, and methodology, and manage the escalation of contract change and regulatory requirements.
• Continuous Improvement & Tooling: Operate and maintain proficiency in relevant TPRM tools (e.g., ORGS, ServiceNow, SAP Ariba), while actively identifying and contributing automation and data quality improvement opportunities to the global roadmap.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A degree in Economics, Business, Law, IT, Risk Management, or Finance, paired with 8 to 10 years of professional experience in fields such as audit, finance, operational risk, IT, regulatory, or related business line activities.
• Experience: Proven hands-on expertise in directly delivering Third Party Risk Management assessments, reviews, or audits to clients or stakeholders, combined with demonstrated experience in managing teams of specialists or experts. Experience within a shared services, delivery center, or financial services environment is preferred, as is interacting with colleagues in a multinational setting.
• Skills: High fluency in written and spoken English, strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in international, virtual teams. A working knowledge of TPRM/operational risk frameworks and relevant regulatory contexts, such as DORA, is essential.
• Bonus: Prior experience managing team leads or multi-layer organizational structures is a plus. Familiarity with specific TPRM tools like ORGS or ServiceNow would also be beneficial.
