Plant Financial Analyst | Harley-Davidson Motor Company

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, located in Menomonee Falls, WI. As a Plant Financial Analyst, you will provide essential financial guidance and analytical support to our Powertrain Operations, directly contributing to the evolution and desirability of the Harley-Davidson experience. This role is crucial for managing the financial health of the plant that produces the core components of our world-renowned motorcycles.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Analysis: Provide in-depth business analysis and assist directors and managers with the financial management of their departmental expenses.
• Budget and Forecast Preparation: Support the development and assist in the preparation of all budgets and forecasts for expense, capital, and headcount.
• Financial Support: Deliver consistent weekly and monthly financial support, including developing cost reports, recording month-end journal entries/accruals, and analyzing spending variances.
• Special Projects: Participate in special financial projects as needed to support plant operations and strategic initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related work experience, which can include public accounting experience.
• Skills: Demonstrated competency in using spreadsheets and accounting systems for analysis and financial modeling; strong interpersonal communication skills across all management levels; self-motivated with a continuous focus on process improvements; strong attention to detail while maintaining a broader analytical perspective; excellent organizational skills to balance multiple tasks.
• Bonus: SAP experience is a plus; a CPA or equivalent certification is desired.
