The Tone:
This is an entry-level, full-time rotational program at Liberty Mutual Insurance, with interviews and offers extended on a rolling basis. What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotate: Complete three distinct 18-month rotations, gaining hands-on experience across various actuarial disciplines including reserving, pricing, modelling, and analytics.
• Gain Exposure: Work and apply actuarial skills within both personal and commercial lines of business.
• Develop Expertise: Learn the tips of the trade from experienced actuaries through a structured mentoring program and challenging rotational assignments.
• Broaden Knowledge: Expand business understanding through practical, hands-on experience and targeted technical training.
• Achieve Certification: Commit to and actively work towards achieving the ACAS designation from the Casualty Actuarial Society.
• Problem Solve: Become a well-rounded actuary, prepared to conquer complex business problems upon program completion.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold, or will be completing, a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline. This is an entry-level position.
• Experience: Possess a passing score on at least one Actuarial Exam. Demonstrate proven leadership skills from involvement in a student organization, an academic project, or a community service organization.
• Skills: Exhibit a strong academic record (a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA is preferred). Possess keen analytical reasoning and a solid grasp of mathematical concepts. Demonstrate strong written and interpersonal communication skills. Display natural curiosity, a passion for continuous learning, and a desire to work across a variety of actuarial functions and environments.
