Technical Program Management Intern | TikTok

The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, with opportunities in various global office locations or potentially remote. TikTok is a leading destination for short-form mobile video, dedicated to inspiring creativity and bringing joy to its global user base. This role is crucial for the Global Monetization Product and Technology organization, as it involves undertaking complex, multi-disciplinary projects to enhance business operations and clarify ambiguous situations. The intern will play a key part in strategic cross-functional project planning, execution, and communication, contributing directly to the growth and efficiency of monetization initiatives.

• Mission: To support project management initiatives, enhance business operations, and manage cross-functional projects within TikTok’s Global Monetization team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Implement project management tools: Support the development and subsequent implementation of project management tools and standardized processes to significantly enhance project efficiency and ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes.
• Monitor and report project status: Systematically follow up on established project plans and continually track overall progress, providing timely and transparent reports on project status to all relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to project governance: Actively assist in the formulation of project management plans and contribute to key decision-making processes, ensuring all related project documents are diligently maintained and tracked.
• Collaborative problem resolution: Engage collaboratively with team members to swiftly and efficiently identify and address any problems or roadblocks that emerge during a project, proactively proposing viable solutions.
• Data-driven business insights: Conduct and support comprehensive data research efforts to generate insightful analyses and articulate the tangible business impact derived from project initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Experience: Familiarity with project management processes and associated tools, coupled with certain foundational IT knowledge and skills. Must be able to commit to an internship duration of 10-24 weeks during Early 2026.
• Skills: Excellent communication and coordination capabilities, demonstrating a strong teamwork spirit.
• Bonus: Possesses a strong learning ability and is self-driven, capable of quickly adapting to new environments and challenges. Shows resilience under work pressure and upholds good professional ethics.
