This is a regular, in-person Teller position at Bank of Colorado, a financial institution dedicated to serving its customers. What You’ll Actually Do
• Process cash and paper transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and the sale of negotiable instruments.
• Assist customers by granting access to safe deposit boxes as necessary, adhering to bank procedures.
• Manage and process transactions received through mail and night drops, ensuring proper documentation.
• Maintain required files and logs, such as signature cards, night deposit logs, and mail logs, for accurate record-keeping.
• Balance the teller drawer at the close of each shift and complete other necessary wrap-up work.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school graduate or equivalent, with a foundational understanding of bank products, policies, and procedures.
• Experience: Completion of the Teller Career Path Guidelines is required within the 90-day probationary period after job acceptance.
• Skills: Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division); ability to communicate professionally with clients and co-workers; skill in operating bank equipment including computer terminals, printers, back counter capture machines, coin machines, and copiers; capacity to maintain a high level of confidentiality; demonstrated accuracy and efficiency in a high-paced environment, and ability to function as a team player.
• Bonus: Knowledge of general banking principles is preferred, with a willingness to participate in educational opportunities.
