Job Description
PwC is hiring for a Tax Associate to join its Corporate Tax services team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, as well as some experience with researching and analyzing tax laws, rules, and regulations. The Tax Associate will be responsible for providing tax advice to clients, helping them to meet their tax obligations and manage the impact of tax on their businesses.
Responsibilities
• Advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs
• Act as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners
• Help organizations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties
• Provide advice on tax implications of deals
• Help clients improve their tax function to control risk and facilitate better decision making
• Focus on helping businesses with tax strategy, ensuring tax compliance, increasing post-tax profits, and providing application support to achieve the best corporate tax practices
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 0+ years of experience with researching and analyzing tax laws, rules, and regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
• CPA license or actively working towards obtaining a CPA license
• Master’s degree in taxation or related field
• Experience with tax compliance services, including planning, strategy, and execution
• Experience with automation & digitization in a professional services environment
