The TL;DR

• Pay: $33–$36 hourly

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engage in Audit and Tax Work: Participate in various phases of audit and/or tax engagements, receiving treatment akin to entry-level staff without being assigned busy work.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting: Perform essential planning, testing, researching, and reporting activities to support financial health assessments for clients.
• Client Financial Management: Work directly with compilations, reviews, compliance, financial statements, and benefit plans, crafting business solutions beyond just spreadsheets.
• Tax Specialization & Client Interaction: Engage deeply in a wide range of tax types, including corporate, partnership, individual, international federal, and state & local taxes, while maintaining meaningful interactions with staff and clients.
• Professional Development: Gain valuable experience across a wealth of business opportunities throughout a professional services firm.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, or a Master’s degree in accounting or tax.
• Experience: Academic success with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Skills: Detail-oriented leader with demonstrated problem-solving, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Bonus: On track to complete the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of successfully obtaining your CPA license.
