Tax Analyst | Koch

• Mission: To ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance, optimize business tax positions, and drive improvements within the tax organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Compliance: Prepare income tax returns to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with domestic tax law, including Forms 1120 and 1065, as well as tracking tax basis.
• Accounting: Prepare and/or review quarterly tax accounting submissions.
• Collaboration: Build and develop relationships across Koch companies to understand and optimize various business tax positions.
• Project Management: Manage prioritization of multiple projects and communicate results to your supervisor and team.
• Improvement: Drive innovation and transformation within the tax organization.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Career experience in corporate taxation, tax accounting, financial reporting, or accounting related roles, with a basic understanding and application of federal tax policies and regulations.
• Experience: Career experience in corporate taxation, tax accounting, financial reporting, or accounting related roles.
• Skills: High attention to detail and accuracy, an analytical mindset, and a proactive, eager-to-learn attitude.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree or higher, previous major CPA firm or large multi-national corporation experience, 1+ years’ experience training and developing interns and/or tax analysts, ONESOURCE Income Tax & Provision Software experience, or experience working with partnership and/or international tax compliance.
