The Tone:
This is a 1-year physician apprentice program at Metro Vein Centers, designed as an immersive stepping stone to a full-time Clinic Leader role across their national network. Metro Vein Centers is a rapidly growing healthcare practice building the future of vein care by delivering compassionate, results-driven treatment in a modern, patient-first environment. This role is crucial for developing high-caliber physicians into future leaders who will improve patients’ quality of life by relieving painful symptoms of vein disease.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $350000–$650000 yearly
• Mission: This role prepares physicians to lead clinics and deliver state-of-the-art vein treatments across Metro Vein Centers’ national network.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Clinical Training & Practice: Master state-of-the-art, minimally invasive venous procedures under elite mentorship.
• Network & Gap Coverage: Serve as a vital clinical team member across regional and national clinics to cover planned physician PTO, parental leave, and seasonal surges.
• Multi-State Credentialing: Get credentialed across multiple states with full administrative and financial support, gaining valuable clinical experience across diverse patient populations.
• Transition to Clinic Lead: Prepare to eventually lead a permanent clinic location upon completion of the 1-year apprentice program.

The Must-Haves
• Background: MD or DO degree. Board Certified or Board Eligible in primary specialty.
• Experience: Recent residency graduates or early-career physicians looking to pivot specialties.
• Skills: Adaptable and Energetic, excited to travel, adapt to different clinical settings, and act as a culture builder; Growth-Minded, driven to learn new procedural skill sets rapidly and transition into a long-term clinical leadership position.
