What You’ll Actually Do
• Ensure Safety Excellence: Actively participate in safety training and rigorously uphold established safety protocols across all operational sites, directly contributing to Cemex’s number one core value of safety.
• Engage in Rotational Learning: Participate in a structured 12-month rotational program, gaining comprehensive exposure to various facets of Ready-Mix operations, including Safety, Plant Management & Maintenance, Fleet Maintenance, Quality Control & Project Coordination, Customer Service/Sales, Dispatch, Environmental, and Human Resources.
• Develop Key Skills: Cultivate both technical expertise and transferable soft skills through practical, hands-on work, dedicated training sessions, and personalized mentorship, progressively enhancing leadership abilities as responsibilities increase.
• Build Professional Networks: Establish and nurture a valuable network of contacts and resources throughout the company, utilizing extensive opportunities to connect with peers, mentors, and leaders across different Cemex business units.
• Contribute to Innovation: Bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the forefront, actively contributing to the continuous improvement and ongoing success of Ready-Mix operations within the Cemex framework.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent Bachelor’s Degree (within the last few years) in Concrete Industry Management (CIM), Construction Science Management/Construction Management, Business Administration/Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field. This role is for entry-level professionals seeking a structured development program.
• Experience: Demonstrated valuable insights gained through internships, co-op programs, or university projects within the industry. No specific years of experience are required, as this program targets recent graduates.
• Skills: Proficiency in analytical thinking and presentation skills. Proven leadership qualities coupled with a proactive approach to learning and solving problems. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required.
• Bonus: A preferred academic performance with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Willingness to relocate within the U.S. as rotation requirements may necessitate.
