Talent Acquisition Intern | Zone 5 Technologies
The Tone:
This is an internship at Zone 5 Technologies, located in San Luis Obispo, CA. Zone 5 Technologies is dedicated to redefining unmanned aircraft systems by developing cutting-edge autonomous solutions that push the boundaries of UAS technology. This role is crucial for supporting the Talent Acquisition team, offering hands-on experience in the full recruitment lifecycle and contributing to attracting exceptional talent to build the future of UAS capabilities.
The TL;DR

• Type: Temporary, Part-time (up to 30 hours/week)

• Pay: $22 hourly
• Team: Supports the Talent Acquisition team.
• Mission: Support the Talent Acquisition team through various recruitment operations to ensure a smooth hiring process and positive candidate experience.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR software
What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordination: Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting team members.
• Record Management: Maintain and update candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Job Postings: Assist with job postings across various job boards and recruiting platforms.
• Communication: Support recruiters with candidate communications, interview confirmations, and follow-up correspondence.
• Inbox Monitoring: Monitor recruiting inboxes and respond to candidate inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: Ability to work on-site in San Luis Obispo up to 30 hours per week.
• Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills; excellent written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); high attention to detail, professionalism, and confidentiality; strong customer service mindset.
• Bonus: Previous internship, administrative, customer service, or office experience; familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or HR software; interest in recruiting, human resources, or talent management; experience working with Microsoft Excel and data tracking.
