What You’ll Actually Do
• Environmental Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation defining environmental factors for system designs.
• MBSE Modeling: Create and maintain CAMEO models specifically for environmental definitions.
• Requirements Definition: Support the writing of clear, concise, and verifiable system requirements.
• Verification Planning: Contribute to the planning and execution of verification activities for system designs.
• Integrated Solutions: Collaborate with the Systems Engineering and Integration Team to develop robust, end-to-end integrated solutions for strategic defense systems.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent related work experience. This is an entry-level role focused on strategic defense systems within the space domain.
• Experience: 1+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree. Knowledge of CAMEO, DOORS, and principles for writing requirements. Must possess an active Secret clearance and have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance. US Citizenship is required.
• Skills: Knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts, experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities, excellent written and verbal communication, and strong social skills to build consensus and relationships with team members.
• Bonus: Experience in writing and coordinating requirements documentation through an approval process, preferably within a defense or aerospace environment. Experience coordinating Systems Milestones reviews (e.g., System Requirements Review – SRR, Preliminary Design Review – PDR, Critical Design Review – CDR). Possession of an active Top Secret clearance.
