The Tone:
This is an unpaid internship at Bang Zoom! Studios, an audio post-production company with multiple studio locations. Bang Zoom! Studios is an award-winning audio post house where stories come to life through expert voice acting, intricate sound design, and close team collaboration. The studio specializes in English-language dubbing for a wide range of content, including popular anime and animation series, and provides comprehensive voice-over and audio post-production services for film, television, and video games. This internship offers comprehensive hands-on exposure to both the production workflows and essential studio support operations within a real, active audio post-production setting. Interns will work directly alongside experienced industry professionals, gaining valuable insight into the complete lifecycle of projects, from initial preparation stages through to final delivery. The program is specifically structured to emphasize learning, observation, and the development of practical skills, providing supervised opportunities for interns to contribute meaningfully while supporting their academic objectives.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Production Support: Provide day-to-day assistance to Production Coordinators and Managers with various project-related tasks.
• Material Preparation: Prepare essential production materials, including script preparation, managing loop counts, and organizing critical documentation for projects.
• Team Collaboration: Offer direct support to Client Services and internal production teams to facilitate smooth project progression.
• Studio Operations: Manage front desk responsibilities and general studio operations, ensuring a welcoming and functional environment.
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and full functionality of studio spaces, and oversee supply inventory and restocking procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or academic program, seeking academic credit for an internship. Priority is given to students who require an internship for graduation.
• Experience: No specific professional experience is required for this educational internship.
• Skills: Possesses strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Demonstrates clear and professional communication skills, exhibiting reliability, respect, and a commitment to confidentiality in a studio environment, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team with a positive, adaptable attitude open to feedback.
• Bonus: An interest in anime, animation, or Japanese culture is a plus.
