Job Description: Supply Chain & Operations Co-op/Intern – Summer 2025

This description details potential openings for summer 2025 (May-August) in various departments within Honda’s supply chain management, purchasing, or operations areas. Honda offers both single and multi-semester co-op/internship options. This is a general description; specific roles may vary.

Potential Responsibilities (depending on the specific placement):

Cost Planning: Creating cost management databases and analysis tools using Microsoft Excel and Access; preparing Request-for-Quotes (RFQs) for suppliers; analyzing quotes for accuracy; comparing costs to standards and targets.

Required Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (sponsorship is unavailable).
• General business coursework.
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher (transcript required).
• Sophomore (by credit hour) or above class standing.
• Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program studying Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License (exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis).
• Ability to secure own transportation to and from work daily (public transportation and ride-sharing are limited in some locations; reliable transportation is mandatory).
• Regular in-person attendance is required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or Engineering classes.

Multiple locations across Ohio and Indiana are available: Marysville, OH; Anna, OH; Raymond, OH; East Liberty, OH; Russells Point, OH; Troy, OH; Greensburg, IN. Location preferences will be considered during the selection process.
