Job Description: Supply Chain Management Co-op/Intern
This job description outlines potential roles within Honda’s Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or Operations departments. The program runs from May to December 2025 and offers both single and multi-semester options. The internship is a paid position with an hourly wage range of $20.45 – $27.42, depending on factors like location, experience, and education.
Potential Responsibilities:
• Cost Planning: Creating cost management databases and analysis tools using Microsoft Excel and Access. Preparing Request-for-Quotes (RFQs) for suppliers and analyzing quote accuracy. Conducting cost comparisons to standards and targets.
Requirements:
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (sponsorship is unavailable).
• General Business Coursework.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA (transcript required).
• Sophomore status (or above) in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.
• Major in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License (exceptions possible).
• Reliable transportation to and from work (public transportation and ride-sharing are limited in some locations).
• Availability to work a minimum of 10 weeks at 40 hours per week.
Desired Qualifications: Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or Engineering coursework.
