Supply Chain Intern (Fall 2026-Spring 2027) | Libbey

The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at Libbey, located in Toledo, OH. Libbey is seeking an analytical and energetic student who thrives on versatility and tackling challenges. This role supports the Materials Planning team, which is responsible for the global supply of inventory that directly supports customer orders. The intern’s work directly contributes to maintaining accurate shipping data and providing critical metrics, ensuring efficient operations within the supply chain.

• Mission: This role supports the Materials Planning team by managing international shipping documents and creating metric tools to ensure global inventory supply and customer order fulfillment.
• Tech Stack: JD Edwards ERP, Advanced Excel Analysis, Microsoft Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support Team: Track late shipments and update ETAs for the Materials Planning Team.
• Enter & Maintain: Enter international shipping documents and maintain accurate purchase order quantities and ETAs.
• Update Reports: Update daily, weekly, and monthly reports for metric review across various supply chain functions.
• Assist Projects: Assist in other projects and/or processes as needed.
• Gain Exposure: Gain exposure to the JD Edwards ERP system and Advanced Excel Analysis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field; Entry-Level.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal; Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously; Accountability for assigned projects with a commitment to see them through to completion.
