The Tone:
This is a leadership development program at Apex Tool Group, LLC, starting in Jonesboro, Arkansas for the first rotation. Apex Tool Group, a global manufacturer with $1.2 billion in annual revenues and 6,700 associates, builds hand and power tools, tool storage, and electronic soldering solutions for professional trades and DIY enthusiasts worldwide. This program is designed to develop recent college graduates into future leaders by providing diverse work assignments, mentorship, and stretch opportunities across various supply chain and operations functions.

The TL;DR
• Role: Leadership Development Program
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person Jonesboro, AR (first rotation), with opportunities for subsequent rotations in Apex, NC; Charlotte, NC; Lexington, SC; or Dayton, OH.
• Mission: This program aims to develop recent college graduates into future leaders by providing hands-on experience and exposure across various supply chain and operations functions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Foundation: Gain hands-on experience and build a strong foundation in Supply Chain and Operations during the initial rotation.
• Contribution: Contribute to the company’s strategic vision through value-adding assignments that align with business needs.
• Understanding: Develop an in-depth understanding and knowledge of Apex Tool Group’s products, markets, operations, and customer base.
• Rotations: Participate in diverse rotational opportunities, moving through four roles in at least two locations, with assignments possible in areas such as Materials, Manufacturing, Quality, Analytics, Procurement, Engineering, Supervision, Operational Excellence, Planning, Transportation, Logistics, and Distribution.
• Development: Engage in stretch assignments and cross-functional projects, supported by mentorship and tailored technical and leadership education programs, to accelerate development for leadership roles.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Analytics, or a related field. Entry-Level, specifically for recent college graduates (program starts June 2027).
• Experience: Previous leadership experience in an academic, athletic, or work setting; previous internship experience in a Supply Chain or related role.
• Skills: Must have a 3.0 GPA at the time of graduation; ability to be mobile during the program; ability to work in person as required by program rotations; well-rounded business acumen.
