The Opportunity – Summer Student Operations Support at Roehl Transport

This is an exciting chance for students to spend their summer supporting the Operations team at Roehl Transport, a nationally recognized leader in the transportation and logistics industry. You will play an active role in providing operational support, working directly with drivers and the operations management team. This involves:

• Finding creative solutions to operational challenges.
• Building strong relationships within the team and with drivers.
• Contributing to business development initiatives.

The Fit – What We’re Looking For

We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate the following key skills and responsibilities:

• Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers via phone and other communication channels.
• Collaboration: Work effectively and collaboratively with Roehl teammates to identify and resolve driver and scheduling conflicts.
• Data Accuracy & Monitoring: Monitor and maintain driver delivery appointments for freight, ensuring a high level of accuracy in all data entered into our system.
• Detailed Record Keeping: Maintain accurate notes regarding driver and load interactions and update information in our internal systems as needed.
