About the Internship
As an Intern at Lennox, you will join a team of innovative and knowledgeable industry professionals. This is an approximately 10 to 12-week program, offering real work experiences designed to grow your career and provide exposure to business leaders throughout the company. You can expect to participate in impactful, developmental projects tailored to your specific area of focus.
Successful interns have the potential opportunity of joining Lennox Full-Time upon graduation. Relocation and/or travel may be required for your position.

As The Summer Merchandising Intern, Projects May Include:
- Help prepare merchandising plans and planograms.
- Analyze product assortments by regions using regional sales data.
- Create reports and presentation templates for long-term store use.
- Review and organize store floor plans to optimize product layout (with a goal of providing regional planograms to stores).
- Collaborate with vendors and utilize Co-op funds (e.g., if we spend a certain amount, vendors provide a percentage back to marketing).
What Do You Need to Succeed?
Required Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of core merchandising/retail concepts.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly with sales and product data.
- Attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a solid work ethic.
- Passion for retail and business.
- Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Entry Level.
- Developing professional knowledge in the area of expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising (Retail or Digital), or related field.
- Interest or desire to lead project teams.
- Previous marketing, retail, or customer service experience.
- Well organized & detail oriented with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong sense of curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Passion for producing high-quality work.
What We Offer
Compensation:
This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $19.80 – $22/hour. This rate is based on the intern’s current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
