This is an internship at Her Campus Media, located remotely in the United States. Her Campus Media is a leading digital media company dedicated to providing content relevant to college women and Gen Z readers. This role is crucial for contributing to the editorial team by creating engaging and timely content within the wellness vertical, directly impacting the audience through articles on mental health, relationships, and general well-being.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Creation: Write and edit engaging wellness articles, including timely assignments for Mental Health, Sex & Relationships, Health, Wellness, and astrology topics.
• Editorial Projects: Assist with larger editorial projects and comprehensive content packages.
• Research & Interviews: Conduct interviews with talent and expert sources to gather information for articles.
• SEO & E-commerce Optimization: Create and optimize content for search engine visibility and e-commerce integration.
• Deadline Management: Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and execute quick turnarounds for assignments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled college undergraduate student, with an interest in college trends and content relevant to the wellness vertical.
• Experience: Demonstrated interest in writing, editing, research, and project management, particularly in creating content for a Gen Z audience.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; highly organized with strategic thinking capabilities; working knowledge of all Google for Work tools; comfortable writing about sensitive topics such as mental health, relationships, and sexual health.
• Bonus: Enthusiastic about the Her Campus mission and audience, with a strong passion for Gen Z interests.
