Marketing Intern | Thaddeus
The Tone:
This is a remote, part-time, unpaid internship at Thaddeus, an organization dedicated to helping girls and women by enhancing their community presence, attracting resources, and increasing visibility for their promotional activities. This role provides hands-on training to develop practical marketing skills, focusing on transforming creative ideas into deliverable social and digital media content. You will contribute to engaging communities, analyzing target markets, and creating viable marketing proposals within a supportive, faith-centered environment. This internship is designed to help you grow your craft in digital content creation in a professional setting over a year-long appointment.

• Mission: Create and manage digital content and community engagement to promote Thaddeus’s presence, attract resources, and increase visibility.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Teams, Meta Business, TikTok, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Photoshop, Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor, HTML.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Community Engagement: Lead initiatives and interact with the community to promote Thaddeus’s mission and goals through social media, outreach, and events.
• Content Creation & Publishing: Develop and publish relevant, high-quality content for Thaddeus’s website and social media platforms, with a focus on social activism.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze social media content performance using analytics tools to inform adjustments and improve strategy.
• Marketing Strategy Support: Contribute to social advertising campaigns, implement content calendars, and collaborate on promotional activities with staff.
• Program Administration: Participate in training opportunities and act as a mentor for new interns within the team during their onboarding process.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled as a Senior or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Must commit to Thaddeus’ Christian mission, values, and faith-centered environment.
• Experience: Demonstrated successful teamwork and the ability to work independently with minimal instruction and strong attention to detail.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong time management, and the ability to analyze disparate information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and capability to function virtually with appropriate technology and internet.
• Bonus: Bilingual in English & Spanish, exposure to digital/social media marketing or nonprofit work, and familiarity with content creation tools like Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva. Basic knowledge of graphic design, website creation, or HTML is a plus.
