General Interest – Internship | Cosm

The Tone:
This is an internship at Cosm, a global technology company that creates immersive environments, blurring the lines between real and virtual experiences. Cosm brings to life spaces and content for sports, entertainment, science, education, and parks and attractions across various U.S. locations. This general interest application serves as an early entry point for students interested in a variety of hybrid internship roles. Interns will gain hands-on experience on impactful projects, build professional networks, and learn directly from company leadership.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design and Software Engineering: Engage in developing state-of-the-art planetarium display systems, immersive dome structures, or contribute to immersive software development, including QA, media playback, full-stack tools, and hardware integrations for high-performance systems powering 12K+ video content.
• Venue Operations, Sales, and Live Production: Support the sales cycle from prospecting to event execution, deliver cutting-edge live immersive experiences through A/V systems, lighting, and live production, or help bring guest-facing activations to life within venue entertainment teams.
• Product, Customer, and Content Strategy: Shape B2B products by assisting with feature development and UX improvements, optimize the customer journey through data analysis and self-service tools, or evaluate market trends and internal priorities to inform content scheduling and programming.
• Corporate Services and Manufacturing: Contribute to financial forecasting, reporting, accounts payable, and reconciliations, support continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing workflows, manage key HR functions, or assist with IT infrastructure and system optimization.
• Creative Production and Brand Storytelling: Coordinate immersive content pipelines, manage assets, support post-production logistics, create immersive soundscapes using sound design and Unreal Engine, or amplify Cosm’s brand through venue marketing, communications, graphic design, and video editing.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Ideally, a Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.
• Experience: Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and available for 20 hours per week in a hybrid, onsite capacity during the internship period.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a keen interest in immersive technology and content.
