Evonik Rotation Program – Early Career Engineers | Evonik

The Tone:
This is a full-time, two-year rotational program at Evonik, requiring mobility and relocation within North America and/or internationally. This role is crucial for supporting process optimization, capital projects, and operational excellence, enabling participants to apply and expand their technical, project management, and problem-solving skills within a chemical manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Technical Assistance: Provide technical and methodological support to production and operations areas to increase process or equipment productivity and reliability.
• Project Evaluation: Support the evaluation of concepts for expansions, including small and mid-sized Capital Investment Projects, quality improvements, and production availability.
• Engineering Support: Provide technical assistance in basic engineering, detail engineering, process development, and scale-up for customer projects and production processes.
• Documentation Preparation: Support the preparation of basic engineering and design documentation for capital projects and customer projects, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
• Data Analysis: Analyze, monitor, and document data using defined tools and methods to improve processes and increase the reliability or quality of processes and products.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, to be received in Spring 2027. Authorized to work in the US without restriction or need for future sponsorship.
• Experience: Enrollment in the Evonik Rotation Program cohort starting July 2027, requiring mobility and willingness to relocate to another region (NA and/or internationally) for the program’s two-year duration.
• Skills: Knowledge of engineering fundamentals, standard industry practices, and regulatory requirements; excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills; ability to interact and communicate effectively with all organizational levels; demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; highly organized and efficient in time management; ability to excel in a project team environment with high adaptiveness to variable situations.
• Bonus: Previous work experiences (Co-Op or internships) in the chemical industry.
