Engineering Development Program – 2026 Graduates | val’s services

The Tone:
This is an early career position at val’s services, located across several U.S. locations. This structured Engineering Development Program is designed to accelerate the growth of engineers in their early careers. The program prepares participants to contribute to meaningful engineering projects and support multiple engineering disciplines within Honda’s manufacturing and business operations. This role is crucial for developing future engineering talent and achieving critical manufacturing and business goals.

The TL;DR

What You’ll Actually Do
• Program Participation: Participate in a structured one-year rotational program to gain broad technical and business knowledge.
• Project Contribution: Contribute to meaningful engineering projects that are aligned with potential final roles within the organization.
• Relationship Building: Build effective cross-functional relationships and prepare to present findings and insights to Honda leadership.
• Discipline Support: Support multiple engineering disciplines, including Manufacturing, Equipment/Tooling, Quality Data, Design, and Facilities, across various U.S. locations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Computer Science, Welding, or related fields) from an accredited program; this is an early career / entry-level role.
• Experience: Less than two years of prior work experience is required, with a preference for candidates possessing at least three months of relevant internship or co-op experience.
• Skills: Demonstrated technical proficiency, effective problem-solving abilities, strong collaboration, clear communication, and a disciplined work ethic.
• Bonus: Candidates should be open-minded, adaptable, eager to learn across various functions, and committed to contributing to Honda’s manufacturing and business goals.
