Process Engineer – 2026/2027 University Graduate (ETAD program) | Evonik

The role is vital as it builds a pipeline of future talent, contributing to process engineering, capital projects, plant operations, and technical improvement initiatives across the company’s network.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Assist: Provide technical and methodological support to production and operations areas to add value by increasing plant availability, reducing costs, increasing capacity via debottlenecking, and improving quality.
• Lead: Identify and recommend concepts for capacity expansions, quality improvements, and improved operations by acting as a leading engineer responsible for process design, safety, and environmental protection in small to medium investment projects.
• Coordinate: Organize and coordinate technical support throughout conceptual engineering, basic engineering, detailed engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup phases of capital investment projects.
• Design: Generate, direct, and approve designs, specifications, drawings, and instructions for capital projects and engineering service requests.
• Develop: Support, train, and develop other engineers and designers across various engineering disciplines within the company.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Receive a BS or MS degree in Chemical Engineering between December 2026 and August 2027, with employment starting between January 2027 and August 2027.
• Experience: Knowledgeable in engineering fundamentals, process design, standard industry practices, regulatory issues, cost management, schedule management, and operations management.
• Skills: Demonstrated human relation skills, including verbal and written communication, decision making, and leadership, alongside the ability to work, collaborate, and excel in a project team environment with high adaptability.
