Job Description:

Texas Materials offers paid summer internships (June 3rd – August 9th, 10 weeks) for college students. The program provides real-world experience and potential for future full-time employment upon successful internship completion and graduation. Interns will work on numerous simultaneous projects across various departments, including but not limited to:

• Accounting
• Human Resources
• Communications
• Business Development
• Construction Management
• Project Management
• Information Technology
• Health, Safety & Environmental

Interns will learn through observation, participation, and execution of tasks. The internships offer flexible hours and are located in Baytown, Houston, Navasota, and Beaumont (applicants must specify their preferred location).

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited college or university in good academic standing.
• Professionalism and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Ability to maintain discretion with confidential information.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments concurrently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The internship is described as a way for both the company and the intern to get to know each other, offering unlimited learning potential based on individual effort and contribution. Successful interns may be offered full-time positions after the program concludes.
