Job Description (Summer Internship):
This 12-week summer internship (May 21, 2025 – August 8, 2025) offers students the chance to work on stimulating projects and gain exposure to various industry initiatives. Responsibilities include:
• Data Analysis: Preparing, analyzing, and managing large datasets of historical balances and incomes for statistical analysis.
• Forecasting Support: Collaborating with Financial Planning and Analysis and Treasury teams to coordinate assumptions, methodologies, and forecasting results.
• Performance Analysis: Analyzing financial performance by comparing actual results to budget and forecast scenarios through monthly and quarterly variance analysis.

Qualifications:
• Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (out of 4.0 scale).
• Junior or Senior classification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (including presentation skills).
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Previous internship experience is a plus.
Working Conditions:
• Commitment to a 40-hour work week for 12 consecutive weeks (May 21, 2025 – August 8, 2025).
• Participation in all GM Financial sponsored intern events.
• Hybrid work environment.
