Internship Overview: Summer 2026 Test Engineering Intern
Triumph is actively seeking a Summer 2026 Test Engineering Intern to support a range of technical responsibilities within a fast-paced manufacturing production environment. This position will assist the engineering teams in achieving their goals through a variety of technical and problem-solving tasks. The internship aims to provide college-level students with practical experience directly related to their major, enhancing and complementing their classroom learning.
Responsibilities
The Test Engineering Intern will assist with:
- Testing for qualification and Acceptance Test Procedures.
- Writing test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Design and build of test stands.
- Test stand maintenance and maintenance records.
- Testing procedures such as installation, removal, and operation.
Qualifications
Required:
- Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain flexibility.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong writing aptitude.
Preferred/Beneficial:
- Analytical experience to determine static and dynamic stresses.
- Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design), with experience in Pro-engineer being beneficial.
- Experience with CREO, Ansys, LABVIEW.

Work Environment And Physical Demands
The role involves typical office and manufacturing environment characteristics. While performing duties, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear. Frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
