The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Team: Works directly under the design manager, with guidance from experienced engineers.
• Mission: To provide assistance in performing engineering assignments, contributing to both unique tasks and larger project initiatives, and gaining a comprehensive practical understanding of real-world engineering processes and workflows.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Engineering Assignments: Perform various engineering assignments under the direct guidance and direction of experienced engineers, applying theoretical knowledge to practical situations.
• Operational Shadowing: Spend dedicated time shadowing actual day-to-day engineering operations to develop a firsthand, practical understanding of real-world processes and workflows.
• Project Contributions: Undertake unique assignments specifically designed to support larger project initiatives, providing exposure to critical project components.
• Workflow Immersion: Experience the overall day-to-day workings of the engineering department, gaining insight into standard operational procedures and collaborative practices.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Must be a student currently working toward a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a closely related degree program from an ABET accredited university.
• Experience: Requires highly motivated students who consistently demonstrate strong academic performance and possess a sincere desire to gain practical experience in and comprehensive knowledge of the company and the broader engineering industry.
• Skills: Candidates should possess excellent organizational capabilities, strong oral and written communication skills, keen attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify discrepancies, and the capacity to work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel, is essential.
• Bonus: Previous internship experience in an engineering or related professional setting is preferred.
