The Tone:
This is a paid summer internship at Ray Graham Association, a respected human service company at the forefront of delivering meaningful programs and essential services to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities. What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Collaboration: Actively collaborate with experienced team members on ongoing projects and strategic initiatives, contributing to their successful execution and overall impact.
• Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive support in essential administrative tasks, which includes managing client communications efficiently and accurately performing data entry.
• Meeting and Workshop Engagement: Participate thoughtfully in various team meetings, dynamic brainstorming sessions, and educational workshops, offering insights and learning from industry professionals.
• Material Development: Contribute directly to the creation and refinement of important organizational materials such as detailed reports, engaging presentations, or compelling marketing content.
• Industry Trend Research: Conduct thorough research to identify and analyze current industry trends or assess competitor activities, providing valuable insights to inform organizational strategies.
• General Operational Assistance: Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor, contributing to the smooth and efficient functioning of daily operations within the association’s programs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a degree within a Human Service field, demonstrating a foundational understanding of the sector, or a recent graduate eager to apply academic knowledge in a practical setting.
• Experience: Proven proficiency in utilizing a range of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for administrative and project-related tasks.
• Skills: Strong and clear communication abilities, effective interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and colleagues, keen attention to detail for accuracy in tasks, excellent organizational capabilities, and proficient time-management skills to handle multiple responsibilities.
• Teamwork & Independence: Demonstrated ability to work both independently on assigned projects, taking initiative and ownership, and collaboratively as an integrated and supportive member of a team.
