The Tone:
This is a temporary summer internship at Hoosier Hills Credit Union, located in one of our Service Centers or our Bedford-Annex in Bedford, IN. This role provides an opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in financial services and directly contribute to Member satisfaction.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $15 hourly
• Mission: Supporting the delivery of financial products and services to Members to ensure their satisfaction and financial success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Member Service: Provide exceptional service aligned with Hoosier Hills Credit Union’s mission and service promises.
• Account Support: Assist Members with online banking, statements, card activation, wire transfers, and general account maintenance.
• Product Recommendation: Identify and suggest HHCU products and services that meet Members’ financial needs and goals.
• Lending Observation: Observe the end-to-end process of consumer and mortgage lending, learning about compliance and verification.
• Community Engagement: Support community outreach initiatives and the Pledge 1% program through communications and marketing.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent. Currently attending or soon to attend a secondary school or college program.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience required, but an interest in financial services, customer service, sales, or business industries is valued.
• Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication, a professional and positive attitude, the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, and strong relationship-building abilities.
