Job Highlights
Put your engineering background to use to tackle short-term projects that offer hands-on experience in a manufacturing plant environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Process Analysis & Improvement: Analyze processes and identify opportunities for improvements. Propose and implement changes to streamline production, reduce waste, or enhance quality.
- Documentation & SOP Development: Review and create documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment and processes.
- Safety & Environmental Programs: Participate in the site’s safety and environmental programs by developing and implementing safety protocols and environmental sustainability initiatives.
- Professional Growth: Grow your skills and knowledge by working with experienced engineers and professionals.
Experience And Skills Required
- Academic Standing: Must have completed sophomore year studies in a bachelor’s level engineering program (preferably mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering).
- Availability: Ability to work full time during the Summer of 2026.
- Work Ethic: An ability to work independently on complicated problems and within the context of multidisciplinary teams.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills to balance daily activities with longer term projects.
- Work Environment: Willingness to work both at a desk and in a manufacturing plant environment.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to read and interpret schematic documents and drawings.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and other business programs.
