Strategy & Venture Capital Intern | Chromie Health

The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at Chromie Health, located remotely in the U.S. Chromie Health is an early-stage healthcare AI startup that builds AI-powered workforce automation for healthcare organizations, aiming to streamline staffing operations, reduce administrative burden, and improve workforce efficiency for hospitals. This role is crucial as it offers an ambitious student firsthand exposure to the strategic decisions involved in building and financing a venture-backed healthcare technology company during its Seed fundraising stage, providing meaningful, hands-on experience rarely available at this level.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Investor Research: Research venture capital firms, angel investors, and strategic partners to identify those aligned with Chromie’s mission and growth stage.
• Fundraising Support: Prepare briefing materials for investor meetings and track ongoing fundraising activities and investor outreach efforts.
• Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market, competitive, and industry research, alongside analyzing trends across healthcare AI and digital health.
• Executive Reporting: Build presentations and executive reports to effectively communicate findings and support strategic initiatives and special projects.
• Strategic Participation: Actively participate in weekly strategy meetings directly with the CEO, contributing to key executive decisions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level student actively pursuing academic credit or a student interested in startups, venture capital, consulting, investment banking, entrepreneurship, or healthcare innovation. Preferred fields of study include Business, Finance, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Political Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Experience: No previous startup or venture capital experience is required, making this an accessible opportunity for students eager to learn. The role seeks a highly motivated and intellectually curious student who enjoys solving complex problems and taking initiative.
• Skills: Strong research and analytical skills, excellent written communication, high attention to detail, self-motivation, curiosity, and the ability to work independently. Candidates should be interested in how startups raise capital and scale from the inside, showing a genuine interest in healthcare AI and digital health.
