Job Description
About Company:
J46 Consulting Group is currently a nonprofit organization with the long-term goal of evolving into a full-scale consulting firm. They work directly with real businesses to identify inefficiencies, design smarter systems, and build solutions that improve their day-to-day operations. The founder is heavily involved and provides close mentorship to interns.
Job Description:
This internship at J46 Consulting Group places you in the role of a strategy and operations consultant. Your primary focus will be on creating customized internal platforms and automation agents for client businesses. This involves:
• Mapping out business operations to identify areas for improvement.
• Developing and implementing automated solutions to replace repetitive tasks.
• Building systems from the ground up, tailored to each client’s specific needs (e.g., automated client intake, operations dashboards, streamlined communication flows).
• Proposing and implementing real solutions, not just analyzing problems.
In addition to client-facing work, you will also support internal operations at J46, including:
• Improving documentation.
• Creating standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Refining project delivery systems.
• Creating case studies and organizing client deliverables.
While there may be occasional assistance with strategy calls, the core of the role is hands-on system building and problem-solving through automation. The internship emphasizes learning by doing, with the founder providing daily guidance and collaboration. The founder expects strong communication, consistency, and follow-through.
This is a fast-paced, collaborative internship where you will work directly with the founder on projects that have a real impact. The internship is designed to be a learning experience, and there is potential for a transition into a paid part-time, full-time, or long-term role as the company scales and the right team and systems are built.
