About Your Role:

As a Store Development Strategy & Operations Intern at Dollar Tree, you will embark on a unique journey to gain hands-on experience and deep insights into the complete lifecycle of store opening processes – extending well beyond the initial stages. Under the direct guidance and mentorship of experienced professionals, you will:

• Play a vital role in supporting strategic initiatives for Dollar Tree’s vast network of stores.
• Contribute to the execution of large-scale, impactful projects.
• Engage in highly strategic work, rotating among different areas within the Store Development team.
• Gain a holistic understanding of the business and how this critical team supports thousands of projects year over year.

Required Skills and Experience:

To be eligible for this exciting internship, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Business Management, Business Operations, Project Management, Communications, Public Relations, Business Analysis, or Construction/related fields.
• Proven ability to manage timelines, organize tasks, and develop comprehensive project plans.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to read your audience, adapt communication style, and write clearly and persuasively for different stakeholders (results-driven and a strong writer).
• Demonstrated organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic, timeline-driven environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective relationships.
• Self-motivated with a genuine eagerness to learn about store development, operations, and the broader retail industry.
