Stock Worker and Receiver | Sodexo

• Mission: This role ensures the smooth flow of goods and accurate inventory management within the warehouse operations at Rollins College.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage Shipments: Verify, record, and prepare incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are correctly processed for dispatch.
• Handle Inventory: Receive, move, store, issue, count, and verify diverse items on requisitions or invoices, including stock rotation for freshness.
• Ensure Accuracy: Compare all incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and orders to confirm information and prevent discrepancies.
• Resolve Issues: Unpack and examine incoming shipments, identifying and rejecting damaged items or recording shortages, then communicating with shippers to rectify problems.
• Coordinate Deliveries: Communicate effectively with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to manage delivery schedules and confirm the receipt of goods.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Career level: Others. Core domain knowledge in warehouse and stockroom operations.
• Experience: 0-1 year experience. May require a valid driver’s license. May require a forklift operation certification.
• Skills: Inventory management, accurate record keeping for shipments, problem-solving for delivery issues, and clear communication with internal and external partners.
