• Mission: This role ensures accurate financial record-keeping, performs essential account reconciliations, and supports the firm’s fiduciary duties to its clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reconcile Accounts: Perform monthly account reconciliations for moderately complex accounts.
• Analyze Ledgers: Analyze general ledger fluctuations and research discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Support Fiduciary Duties: Conduct specialized accounting functions to support the Firm’s fiduciary responsibilities to its clients.
• Lead Monthly Close: Play a major role in monthly close processes, including the preparation of journal entries and related audit trail support.
• Manage Cash Accounts: Reconcile and monitor the majority of the firm’s cash accounts and record intercompany cash receipts.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Experience: One to two years of accounting experience, specifically with trial balance accounts, other general ledger accounts, and creating/entering journal entries.
• Skills: Functional knowledge of Excel; ability to work independently; strong verbal and written communication skills; strong planning, organizational, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: Interest in using innovative AI technology, including Harvey and Copilot, to support efficient high-impact work.
